During our daily makeup routines we all have our favorite way to emphasize our eyes, make our skin glow, and our lips pop. One important key factor in the balance of your face that sometimes we put to the side is our eyebrows. The shape, color, and definition of your eyebrows can change the whole look of your face. Their is a few guidelines to follow while perfecting your eyebrows that should always be taken into consideration. The shape of your face plays a major role in the way you shape your eyebrows. If you have a longer face, you want to avoid a very pronounced arch. Too much arch can elongate, which would not balance an already longer shaped face. If you have a shorter or more round face, an arch and a nice curved shape would compliment you well. The inner end of your eyebrows should be roughly in line with the inner corners of your eyes. Eye brows that are too far apart can make your eyes appear farther, also throwing off balance. The outer corner of your brow should be directly diagonal from the outer corner of your eye. Eyebrows should always get thinner towards the outside. If you have thin eyebrows and you need to enhance them with a pencil, the color should always stay as natural as possible. If you color your hair a non natural color, it is still the most flattering on the face to make your eyebrows the color they are meant to be, or close to it. One persons eyebrow shape may not be flattering on someone else, and everyone should modify the way they groom and enhance their brows to fit what looks best for them. Next time you are applying your makeup, don't forget to give your eyebrows the attention they need.
